it's not just words, it's what we feel. we always chose to hide, but nowadays we can't. 'cause now people have found us and think they understand. don't let them take what we believe in, and all for which we stand. they'll put it on MTV with a Pepsi in its hand. the music is great, but that's not why i'm still here. now i see change and it leaves me in fear. in this society based on greed, i feel safe around people with different needs. don't tell me i exaggerate. to me this thing is so fuckin' great. sure, it's not perfect, but we really try. and if we can't keep it together a part of me will die.
